Our commitment to publish

We are committed to being transparent and open about the way we work, the services we provide and the decisions we make.

We want to make sure information about us is easy to find.

One of the ways we do this is through our commitment to comply with the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 as it is extended to include Registered Social Landlords and their subsidiaries effective from 11 November 2019, in relation to housing services as defined by Section 165 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2010 ie:

  1. the prevention and alleviation of homelessness
  2. the management of housing accommodation
  3. the provision of services for owners and occupiers of houses
  4. the provision and management of sites for gypsies and travellers, whatever their race or origin

The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 gives the public the right to access recorded information held by public bodies.

We are bound by the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004 which gives the public the right to access environmental information we hold.

Our guide to the information we publish includes:

  • how to access information we hold but don’t publish
  • the costs for providing unpublished information
