. Our office is open Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri 9.00am to 5.00pm and Wed 10.00am to 5.00pm.
You will be told if the repair is your responsibilty. If you still wish the Association to undertake the repairs on your behalf you will be recharged the full cost. Find out who is responsible for what.
Emergency Out of Hours Repair Service

If the emergency is within office hours please call our office on 875253. Our emergency out of hours number is 01856 873430. This will put you through to the OIC Building Inspector on duty who provides the out of hours cover for the Association. Please let us know as soon as possible if you have had to use this service and ensure it is only used for actual emergency repairs as detailed below:
Emergency repairs are works to make safe where there is either a risk to the tenant or members of the public, or to make a property secure or prevent further damage. Examples of emergency situations are:- Major fire damage
- Major structural damage to roofs, walls, doors or windows
- Burst internal pipes, cylinders, storage tanks
- Serious electrical faults
Urgent repairs are works not classified as emergencies but would cause a high degree of inconvenience or may cause further damage if not attended to within 3 days. Examples of urgent situations are: - Partial loss of electric power or water supply
- Unsafe timber flooring or stair treads
Routine repairs comprise of all other repairs which are not emergency or urgent. Examples of routine repairs are: - dripping kitchen tap
- blocked gutters

You should note that if you call a tradesman yourself the Association will not be held liable for any costs.
The Right to Repair for Scottish secure tenants and short Scottish secure tenants gives tenants guidance on tenants right to have small urgent repairs carried out by their landlord within a given timescale.
